Expanding the Capacity with Rotisserie Ring

Hi:

I am new to the board and have not even received my Smokenator, but wanted to see if anyone had experience using the Weber 2290 Rotisserie Ring to expand the capacity of their kettle.

If so, are there issues with maintaining temperature due to the increased capacity?
