Having just purchased my Smokenator for my Weber Silver, I have what would seem really basic questions that I do not see covered in the manual.
1. Does it matter on which side of the grill that the baffle is placed? The side with the grill handle, the left the right, the rear? From the videos I have watched on YouTube, it appears that anywhere is fine, but I would like to know if there is a preferred location.
2. When I use a charcoal chimney, I am guessing that the remaining briquets remain in the Smokenator and once I get the 12 heated up, I simply "pour" them into the baffle area and then add the wood chunks.
3. Once I put the lid on, does the location of the top vent in relation to the Smokenator have any bearing?
Thanks in advance and I am really looking forward to using my Smokenator.

1. Doesn't matter where the smokenator is placed. 2. Correct. 3. When you put the lid on the top vents should be opposite the smokenator.

Thanks!!!
Did the test run Sunday morning followed by two racks of ribs - the first of many I guarantee you. Absolutely delicious!
