Just ordered a Smokenator and am anxious to give it a try. Winter weather may postpone the first try - no snow yet, just low ambient temps. May try it anyway. Have done many years of outdoor cooking - Weber grills, Dutch Ovens, etc, and am excited about this method of low, slow and smoky.

You know you're gonna try it out the day you get it! I did!!! Don't worry about the cold temps outside, it just helps keep your internal temps low.

product shipped 12/30/11. Should arrive before 1/11/12. Weather is bringing snow/rain mix, then turning colder (more like normal), making early use of Smokenator questionable.

I am smoking today, it is windy and cold out. Made a makeshift wind block but needed to get my smoking fix in. Hope you enjoy your Smokenator as much as I have.
