I bought my grill used on Craig's list the people who had the grill before me used Match light charcoal does anyone know what to clean my grill with so my ribs don't taste like charcoal lighter.

I'd wipe it down with alcohol. Also, for stuck on grease and build up, we use Dawn Power Desolver. Spray it on and let it sit for a few minutes. A couple of whacks with that should help appreciably. If all else fails, they sell a really nice stainless steel food grate for the Weber. I've been eyeballing those for awhile now.

I've got a steamer that I use. Works pretty good with some rags. Best part is no chemical smells afterwards.

Easy Off makes a grill cleaner that works well. I've used it in the past with good results.
