Well I tried a smoked meatloaf yesterday using the Smokenator. It came out pretty good. The one thing I might do different next time is the recipe I was following said to have smoke going for 75% of the time and said it should take around 4 - 5 hours to cook at 250. So I setup the Smokenator for a 4 - 5 hour cook and added several chunks of hickory. It ended up cooking in a little over 2 hours and the bacon had a pretty heavy smoke flavor. I think I would have gotten a little better smoke ring if I didn't have the bacon wrap but I can sacrifice ring if it leads to bacon. Prepped and Ready for the Grill Forgot to take any action shots but this is after the cook. Little smoke ring but then again it has the bacon cover.

Not sure what the total weight of the loaf was but I used 2 pounds of ground beef.
