I'm going to smoke a meat loaf this weekend. Gonna combine a lb. of ground sirloin with 1/2 lb. of ground pork along with other items (onion, garlic, eggs, spice, etc....) Will smoke at 220-240.... Any idea how long this will take? I love this Smokenator! I fire it up every weekend... My wife never ate pork until I did the first Boston Butt.... Now, she eats everything I smoke!!!!

Haven't sone one on the Sn'ator yet, but it's on the short list. I've done some in my Brinkman smoker. A meatloaf weighing 1 1/2 pounds is going to cook fast even at 220*, so keep a good eye on it. But it's worth it. Start with the meatloaf sitting on a piece of foil that is no larger than the bottom of the loaf. After the loaf firms up some, take it off the foil and set it on the grate. I have tried using a meatloaf smoking pan, but no matter how much oil I apply to it, the loaf always sticks and comes out in a zillion pieces.

Here's one to get you started. I generally search google for smoked meatloaf, and pick one. www.amazingribs.com/recipes/hot_dogs_and_sausages/italian_sausage_bomb.html

And i aint gonna lie i love bacon so im looking forward in making this. Maybe try it with cream cheese and jalepenos. There's other ways u can change it up.
