Can I get fall off the bone without wrapping in foil???

Most competition cooks say fall of the bone ribs are over cooked. My family say they are just right. Yes you can get them without the foil. Just cook them longer. However they might get a little dry so if you want FOTB St. Louis ribs I would foil but that is just me. I mainly cook BB ribs again because that is what my family prefer but if I had my choice it would be St. Louis cut for me.

You can get fall of the bone if you boil them first but imagine boiling a steak before cooking.
Don't do it.
Competition cooks say ribs should pull off of the bone.

Don't you dare boil ribs.
3-2-1 for spares and 2-1-1 for baby backs with foil in middle step is all you need for tender juicy ribs!
