I'm a new member and a newer owner of a Smokenator. What is the lowest temp that can be maintained on the smokenator. Should I use fewer coals. I have been able to keep my Weber with the coal baskets at 110-120. Can I do this with the Smokenator, or will I have to remove it and use the basket again.
Would appreciate any guidance from the experts here.

I'm no expert at all. I only have two sessions under my belt. Did beef short ribs and St. Louis style ribs. I was shooting for 225 at the grates but the smokenator ran steadily at 214 during both sessions. I marked my vents and I won't change a thing.
