I have read that he 4 inch Jam Pam by Excelente is a good replacement/addition for the small pan that comes with the Smokenator. This is true for the 22.5" Kettle.
However, for those who are using the 18.5" Weber Kettle the 4" deep pan is too big/high to use on the top grate, the lid cannot close unless you put the pan right in the middle. This of course limits usable cooking area. You can place on the bottom grate, but if you like to cook on the bottom grate this won't work for you, either.
I ordered the 2.5" Excelente Jam Pan for my 18.5" and it works perfect on the top grate.
