Hello the fire, Anyone have experience with these mitts? I'm thinking they'd be great for removing large, awkward stuff from the cooking grill, especially turkeys. I always feel awkward when I'm trying to wrangle a big, hot, slippery, cooked bird, LOL! The mitts are watertight, so just pick up the turkey with your hands and move it to a platter. Besides, they appeal to my sense of humor. As stated above, anyone have experience with these mitts? OrkaPlus Silicone Oven MittsLooking forward to your thoughts. Whiskey Charlie

Hi WC I just use cloth pot holders shaped like those and throw them in the laundry after the smoke, probably have 5 sets. My wife bought me a set of the silicon sets but without the lining. They are fine but very stiff compared to the cloth ones.
I would not buy the lined ones you posted just an extra problem to deal with. Amazon has the unlined ones also. They are not very expensive so if you want to try them go ahead, I just find the ones my wife bought me to stiff.
