Hi everyone,
I haven't purchased a Weber kettle yet. I'm debating on a 22 or 26in kettle. Is there any difference in function, performance, or ease of use with the different sized kettle grills combined with the Smokenator?
Thanks-Todd

Todd, it really depends on how many you think you will ever cook for. Weber has renamed there 22 1/2 inch grills so look at the one with the ash catcher that is the same as the one on the 26 inch grill. It costs about $159 and functions the same as the 26" grill. It is the one I have and used to be called the Gold. I think it is now called the Master Touch. Make sure it has the hinged cooking grate, as that makes it easier for adding coals.
I have the 22 1/2" grill and have smoked pork butts for 40, lots of Chicken thighs with the SN and Hovergrill, whole 16lb turkeys, whole packer briskets, two with the hovergrill.
As I don't have the 26" I can't tell you about it's capacity. But unless your going to feed a big group frequently I would go with the 22 1/2 kettle with the SN and Hovergrill.
