I have had it with the Maverick ET 732 dual probe thermometers. My first one came with a bad probe. Now 2 years later the sending unit isn't sending. So I am switching I went on line to good old Amazon and found they are selling a ThermoPro Model No. TP-08 with the same functions for a slightly less price and highly rated on Amazon. It has a one year warranty vs. the 90 day of the Maverick. If you want to spend a $100 you can go to Thermoworks.com and check out there Smoke version.
Everyone needs a good instant read thermometer also and I can highly recommend the Thermo Pop by Thermoworks.com. It reads upright no matter what direction you place it even upside down and only costs $30. I always use my instant reads when smoking large cuts of meat, brisket, pork shoulders, turkeys.
