Hi, We are facing a problem with the auxillary engine fuel pumps. We have 3 no.s Hyundai Himsen 1280kw 4 stroke auxiliary engines running on HFO. The problem we are facing is that when the engine is running in idle and on load the fuel pump racks are free to move. However when the engine is stopped the racks get stuck. Thwn when we rurn the engine using the turning tool the racks ease up in firing order and then again get veey tight or stuck.....We cannot figure out why this is happeneing or if this is a normal thing to happen. All 3 engines are run less than 1500 hours as the vessel is new. If any one has any inputs please let me know. Any idea? Please help. Thanks! I didn't find the right solution from the Internet.
