When I slide my smokenator in I rest it on the grill tabs and make sure the bottom tabs are locked in and have little space to slide back and forth. My problem is that when I add the charcoal the top of the smokenator start to slide forward and off the tabs. Any suggestions?

My problem is that when I add the charcoal the top of the smokenator start to slide forward and off the tabs. Any suggestions? I had that happen. What I noticed was that I had the bottom tabs snapped in very tight on the coal grate. I lifted it, and re-set it down on the next set of bars to the right. It seemed like it should have been tighter, but it stays put, and I never had it happen again.

I had a lot of crud between the Webber bowl and the grill supports. When I cleaned that out, the smokenator tabs fit snugly in place.
