I just wanted you to know that I am sorry to hear the loss of your husband and father. I can look at this product and see how much time and dedication he put into this AWESOME idea. My friends and family think I am the best grill master out there. I wanted you know that I could not have done it without the Smokenator. I have emailed Don a couple of times and he responded right away. Customer service was great!
May God Bless you and comfort you during this time.

I am very sad to hear of Don's passing. I am amazed that he started this forum so near his end, and found the strength to post helpful information. I will smoke some ribs with my Smokenator soon in honor of Don, and thank him for adding pleasure to my life. He will live on at many a barbeque for ever.

I just bought mine and just cooked a great smoke ring tri tip as a break in experiment. I love it already! I know they will allow a little smoke in heaven for Don!

My deepest sympathy to Don's family. I only just got a Smokenator in June but was already impressed with his personal customer service. God bless Don.

My thoughts and prayers are with Don's family. Don was an innovator and entrepreneur in the truest sense of those words. He also provided an amazing product with even more amazing customer service. He will be missed and I am certain that the family will carry on his legacy of quality and customer service to his honor.

My heartfelt condolences to Don's family. Loss is so hard to take, but after having lost multiple people to cancer, I know he's in a better place now. I hope his friends and family can find some comfort.

Don and his family are in my prayers and thoughts. He was a fine gentleman, evidenced by this forum and his attention to all of his customers and potential buyers. He will be fondly remembered because of his generous help and certainly because he designed a very important BBQ accessory. God bless...

I am sorry to hear of Don's passing. I wish you and your family the best in your time of grief.
Don was a true innovator. His Smokenator is a great BBQ accessory. More importantly, it was Don's Smokenator manual that set him apart. There was great time and effort put into that document. I was fortunate to have spoken with Don via e-mail last year when I was ready to smoke a beef brisket. He couldn't have been more helpful.
I've cooked with the Smokenator for the last year and a half and it has completely changed the way I look at the Q.

Don Thompson Family -
I am very saddened by the passing of Don. Your plans to carry on with the business is both admirable and a tribute to Don's wonderful invention. I wish you much success.
