Just wondering. I have used a small metal 'ash can' with a lid but would like to find a less messy way to deal with it. Over the weekend, I dumped into an area of my yard where an old play set was just removed. Into a a hole that will be filled-in soon.
Anyone have any luck lining the ash bucket? any other tips?

Have had better luck lining my kettle's ash pot with HD foil, It's a little tricky, but most of the grease/ashes come out in a 'package' I can throw away now.
Still sometimes fighting burning grease though during a cook - not sure how to prevent that yet.
