In preparation for a week at the beach I'm going to produce my annual apple and pecan smoked pork butt. My question is has any one smoked two pork butts at the same time using the smokenator? I've got 15 lbs of pork butt in the fridge. At 1.5-2 hrs / pound am I looking at 24-30 hrs of smoking or just the usual 8-12?
thanks for any advice.

If you have two 7 1/2lb butts, your cooking time will be based on one of them. May take a bit longer, but not significant. Rotate them about half way though. Good luck!

Throwing two butts on will cause the grate temperature to fall more than normal, and will take longer to recover. Nothing you can do about that. It will add some time, but nothing major.
