Hey everyone, Well, after my chuck roast went off without any major problems, I decided to cook up a couple of rabbits today. We live down the street from Baesler's Market, a locally-owned grocery store that always sells top quality meat, and they had some a few weeks back. We picked two rabbits, around 1.7 pounds each. I did some googling on smoked rabbit, and found this guide: forum.cookshack.com/eve/forums/a/tpc/f/2291028883/m/1711001983. I decided to pretty much follow this guide as-is, except that I cooked mine for 3 hours (sauced each side 30 minutes for the last hour). I used a 1 oz chunk of mesquite and the flavor was really nice in the rabbit. Here are some shots of the final result: You can see how juicy it turned out in the third shot My wife fixed up some fresh corn on the cob and cole slaw to go with it. We normally like to take our time and enjoy dinner over some conversation, but it was pretty quiet tonight ;D Darryl
